Associate membership provides access to all information, education and networking events, as well as discounted IT services and practice support.

Can I participate in activities or join the Division?

Participation in our activities is open to all GPs and other health professionals, regardless of postcode of practice or area of residence.

All GPs and practices may choose to attend CPD events and join any Division based on their individual needs and personal preferences.

What types of membership are available?

Full Membership

This is open to general practitioner in practice principally in the Bankstown area.
Applicants for full membership need to provide proof of current NSW Medical Board Registration ( ie to attach a copy of their current membership card to their application)
Annual fee 2010-2011: $132 inc. GST

Associate Membership

This is open to general practitioners who work outside the Bankstown area, as well as other medical practitioners including, but not limited to RMOs, and medical and surgical specialists, staff specialists, visiting medical officers,
Associate membership is also open to allied health professionals, medical students, retired doctors, practice staff and others who do not fulfil the criteria for full membership or registrar members.
Associate Members are eligible to attend meetings of the Division, however, do not have voting rights.
Applicants for Associate Membership need to provide proof, where relevant of current NSW Medical Board Registration or other registration with appropriate professional bodies (ie to attach a copy of their current membership card to their application).
Annual fee: $105.60 inc. GST

Registrar Membership

This is open to to Registrars on the GP Synergy Program.
Registrar Members will automatically cease to be members on the expiration of their term on this training program.
Registrar Members are eligible to attend meetings of the Division, however, do not have voting rights.
No membership fee will be levied.
Applicants for Registrar membership need to provide proof of admission to the GP Synergy Program with their application. (ie to attach a copy of documents confirming their current current status with GP Synergy, registration number on the Program and proof of current NSW Medical Board Registration.
Annual fee: Nil
