Argus secure clinical messaging
This page provides information on Argus secure messaging software.
Argus is a computer program that enables health service providers to securely exchange clinical documents between their computer systems via email.
Argus seamlessly integrates with existing clinical software and speeds up reporting processes, saving time and resources as well as encouraging co-operation between providers.
Around Australia, 59 of the 113 Divisions of General Practice have now committed to promoting the adoption of Argus secure clinical messaging by GPs, specialists, allied health providers, and other healthcare organisations for exchanging clinical information.
Argus is the preferred secure messaging system within Sydney South West Area Health Service (SSWAHS).
Argus, or similar approved secure clinical messaging systems are a prerequisite for accessing the Australian Government eHealth PIP.
