Welcome to the Bankstown GP Division
We are a not -for-profit health organisation funded primarily by the Australian federal government.
We engage in capacity building in primary health care and address health equity issues in the south-western suburbs of Sydney, Australia.
This site is our channel of open communication with health professionals and local communities.

Do you want to participate in our CPD events or join us?
Participation in our activities is open to all GPs and other health professionals, regardless of postcode of practice or area of residence. All GPs and practices are free to attend CPD events and join any Division based on their individual needs and personal preferences. Swine flu and seasonal flu - what should I do? - Media release 27th April 2010
In late April 2010, the Australian Government stopped Seasonal Flu immunisations for children aged five years and younger. Seasonal Flu vaccine is different to Swine Flu vaccine.
Swine Flu immunisations with Panvax are still encouraged for children and adults of all ages.
